We had two Mobile Movie Meetings with nice weather in January. The first was with Community Bible Baptist Church in St. Peetersburg. They had a conference with college age people from all over the Country, even England. We showed the film on the beach. The second Mobile Movie Meeting was at a homeless shelter. Several came up to us after the film to talk and have prayer.
Bill Riley helped me with setting up and tearing down electronic equipment at both meetings, he used to help with Drive-In years ago. Israel and Julie Salizar also helped in the second meeting. They are Missionaries to Argentina and are interested in using Film Ministry when they go back.
We had six Drop-Out Prevention or Character Counts programs this past month in St. Petersburg and Venice Public Schools. There were several resopnses at the web site after each meeting. One Elementary Principal told me he really loved the program and will encourage other principals to contact me. A Good News Club in a near by school invited me to present Gospel Magic. There were several decisions to follow Christ in that meeting. Danielle's school is starting a Good News Club in just a few days. She is looking forward to attending.
We finished out the month with a trip to Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi. Around 100 children and some parents came out to a Kids Rally on Saturday where I presented Gospel Magic. I also spoke to the Teen Sunday School and Children's Church the next day. There were several decisions for Christ on both days.
